Parent-Teacher Group (BAC/PTO)

The Burlington Advisory Committee Parent-Teacher Organization (BAC/PTO) is the group formed by parents and teachers to support Burlington Elementary. The group is open to all who are interested and provides many fun ways to get involved and support the school.

We have a strong history of involvement at Burlington that helps make our school a vibrant community and a dynamic learning place for our children.

BAC/PTO Goals 

The main goals of the BAC/PTO are to: 

  • Create community at Burlington through fun family events.
  • Support functions of the school with volunteers.
  • Raise funds that directly benefit our children’s educational experience.
  • Help all families get involved in the school at a level that works for them.

BAC Officers

Officers are slated at the April meeting and approved at the Talent Show in May. Anyone who is interested can be a BAC/PTO officer. The BAC officers for the school year 2009–2010 are:
