SVVSD Safety and Security Community Meetings

St. Vrain will hold two Community Meetings to update parents on new and existing safety and security initiatives in the District. The District is also soliciting parent feedback at these meetings regarding the possibility of installing internal cameras and implementing a school based visitor management system. Parents can attend any one of the following meetings:

Tuesday, January 24, 6-7:30 pm, Altona Middle School, 4600 Clover Basin Drive, Longmont

Thursday, January 26, 6:30-8 pm, Heritage Middle School, 233 E. Mountain View Ave., Longmont

Science Fair is Coming

The Burlington Elementary Science Fair is a meeting place for students
and scientists. The students have the opportunity to exhibit their project,
share ideas with other students, and discuss their projects with parents,
students, teachers, and other scientists. The goal of the student’s science
project is to learn good scientific process.

Internet Safety

Burlington Parents/Guardians,

The following link is a free site that our teachers and staff are using to educate students about internet safety and usage.  There is a parent educate tab for your convenience to review; it is free to register.

Construction near Burlington Elementary

Begining on Tuesday, November 1st, construction will start on the Lefthand Creek Flood Project.  Please remember that the intersection of South Pratt Parkway and Missouri Avenue will be closed.  Please click this link Flood_Control_Project for more information about the project and for safe routes to school.  Prinicipal Hughes would like parents to please remind students to stay away from the construction equipment and project for their own safety.  If you have specific questions regarding the project, please call 720-352-2097.
